Regardless of your preferred analogy--toothpicks, Kate Bosworth's waistline, thin-crust gourmet pizza--there's no question that skinny's the in thing when it comes to gadgetry. From served up in "urban gray" and "espresso black," to LG's trendy Chocolate cell phone, manufacturers seem to be trying to squeeze every last inch of girth out of their hippest tech devices.

Now Logitech's jumped onto the bandwagon with the diNovo Edge keyboard, a particularly swanky new addition to its diNovo Media Desktop line. The diNovo Edge is geared toward the same crowd that would be inclined to ogle Sony's Vaio VGC-LS1 desktop: people who are willing to shell out some extra cash for something that's sleek, shiny and space-saving. At three-quarters of an inch thick, it certainly meets the skinny requirement. It's wireless (natch), using Bluetooth to connect to your computer of choice. And it's made of a sexy, laser-cut blend of black Plexiglas and brushed aluminum that's bound to make design freaks salivate.

Oh yeah--it's also $199.99.

But forget about that price. Laser cut. Who doesn't want to be able to say that about a keyboard design? As for whether or not it's functional, well, you'll have to check it out when it ships in November.
