CNET staff
Bryce Nord forwarded Logitech's latest statement on their intended support of Mac OS X:

"By simply connecting your Logitech USB pointing device to your Mac OS X system, you will automatically have basic point and click functionality. We are currently in the process of writing software for OS X that will allow you to take full advantage of all the features of your device. We are committed to supporting our mice and trackballs on the Macintosh platform and will continue to develop software for the Macintosh operating systems. We expect to have a preliminary release available in Q1 2002."
