TimeSys, a company that provides services for using Linux on embedded computing devices, said Friday it has named Joseph Raffa as its interim chief executive, replacing Larry Weidman, who "recently left the company to pursue personal interests."

Raffa is a partner with Adams Capital Management and has worked at Synopsys and Hewlett-Packard. He'll lead a search for a permanent CEO, the Pittsburgh-based company said.
