LG's new phone is all about selfies. The LG V10 packs dual front-facing 5-megapixel cameras that LG says can take 120-degree photos. There's also a 16-megapixel camera on the rear, which will offer all manner of manual controls while you're shooting video.

There's also a second, independent display sitting above the main, 5.7-inch screen. It's a 2-inch strip with a 1,040x160-pixel resolution. When the main screen is off, it'll display the weather and the time. When you're using the phone, the secondary display will host shortcuts to your favorite apps.

Check out this chart of the most important specifications to see how the V10 stacks up to its phablet competition. (UK readers should note that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is not available there.)

The V10 has arrived in a very crowded space: Google's Nexus 6P and the Nexus 5X launched earlier this week, and Apple's iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus have recently gone on sale.

These specs place the V10 in a favorable position against its rivals, but it takes more than a quirky camera and a secondary display to stand out right now.

We'll need some hands-on time with the V10 to see how all of these new features fare, so stay tuned for more news.
