Something is coming. LG

LG is hosting a media event next week where it will unveil its Android-based Optimus One and Optimus Chic handsets. The September 14 event will be broadcast to the public online, and LG executives will host an interactive question and answer session at the end of the event.

Details remain scarce for either handset; however, a Polish blog was able to get its hands on what is being rumored to be the Chic. According to android.com.pl (translated) , the Android 2.2 smartphone runs a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM 7227 processor and features a 3.2-inch display and 5-megapixel camera. With LG hoping to unveil 20 Android devices by the end of this year, we expect to see more events like these over the next few months.
