The auto industry will be watching as Lexus executives show off the company's latest in autonomous-driving technology at the 2013 International CES. The event kicks off at 11 a.m. PT (2 p.m. ET) on Monday, January 8, and CNET will be there to cover it live. We'll have a live video stream, along with a live blog packed with the news and analysis.

Lexus is reportedly set to demonstrate autonomous-driving features. The Japanese automaker last week posted a five-second preview video that shows one of its luxury brand Lexus vehicles loaded with various sensors and carrying the caption, "Lexus advanced active safety research vehicle is leading the industry into a new automated era."

We'll find out exactly what that means on Monday.
