Phone will debut in gray, gold, and silver and will offer different camera tech than the dual lenses on the M8's back, according to the alleged photo.

An apparently leaked photo of the HTC One Mini 2. @evleaks

Serial leaker @evleaks has apparently let the cat out of the bag again. This time, it's an alleged photo of the upcoming HTC One Mini 2.

Based on the picture, the phone would appear to come in three colors -- gray, silver and gold -- and would bolster earlier rumors that the phone will sport a 13-megapixel camera instead of the low-res, 4-megapixel Ultrapixel camera found on the larger One M8 .

Logistically speaking, HTC pairs its Ultrapixel camera with a second camera for depth information, and the new picture shows that the rear of the upcoming One Mini 2 only has a single shooter.

This could mean that instead of using Ultrapixel technology in the phone like the first HTC One Mini, HTC could be using the same 13-megapixel shooter found on the Desire 816 .

Other leaked specs include Android 4.4 KitKat, Sense 6 user interface, and a Snapdragon 400 processor. This puts it on par with the company's midrange Desire 816. And if plastic isn't what you want, the One Mini 2 would appear to come with the premium finishing of the One M8.
