Will the next iPhone tower in size over the current lineup? CNET

Apple's next iPhone is expected to offer a bigger screen size, and a new image purportedly shows just how big.

Posted by a user to a Chinese online forum Weibo on Tuesday, the image displays the front face of what may (or may not be) the iPhone 6, according to French blog site iphon.fr. The image shows the panel alongside an iPhone 5S, leading iphone.fr to speculate that the new iPhone's display will be 4.1 inches high and around 2.35 inches wide. In comparison, the screen for the current iPhone lineup is 3.5 inches high and 2 inches wide.

The photo itself should be taken with the usual grain of salt as its source is decidedly unverified.

Recent rumors point to Apple bumping up the screen size of the iPhone 6 to 4.7 inches from the current 4 inches. Some also say Apple will unveil a second iPhone with a screen size of 5.5 inches.
