LaCie intros Porsche lineup of external storage
Lacie announced a new family of external hard drives that are inspired by Porsche.
LaCie, the hardware vendor that has been known to turn storage devices trendy, has just done it again. The company announced today that it has collaborated with Porsche Design Group to introduce two exclusive Porsche-inspired external storage devices: the Porsche Design Mobile (P'9220) and Porsche Design Desktop (P'9230) hard drives.

According to the company, the casing is made of durable and scratch-resistant aluminum, with each frame being built with precision and also designed to regulate heat, keeping the internal hard drive cool.
Both drives come with software, which helps prepare them for use with either a PC or a Mac. They also include backup software and password protection to keep the data secure. The drives come with 10GB of .
