Knowledge Base: AppleWorks 6: Right Margin Cut Off When Printing

Officially noting an issue that was reported here on MacFixIt a few weeks ago, Apple has posted Knowledge Base article #93075: "AppleWorks 6: Right Margin Cut Off When Printing."

As noted here earlier, text appears to be cut off along the right margin of a printed document or print preview in AppleWorks 6.2.5 or later. The solution, according to Apple, is as follows:

• Turn on Fractional Character Widths in AppleWorks 6 preferences.
• Choose AppleWorks > Preferences > General.
• Choose Text from the Topic pop-up menu.
• Select the checkbox for Fractional Character Widths.
• Click OK.
