Kaleidoscope 2.1 coming soon; Power Windows and SmoothType updates planned

From Greg Landweber: Kaleidoscope 2.1 is now in the final stages of beta testing and due out in under two weeks. It will be fully compatible with Mac OS 8.5. This version also fixes problems with Anarchie Pro 3.0, MacSOUP 2.4, HP printer drivers, and a startup crash under System 7, as well as offering many other minor improvements and fixes.

Following the release of Kaleidoscope 2.1, I am planning to update to Power Windows to support Mac OS 8.5 as well. SmoothType is already compatible with Mac OS 8.5, and several people have already told me that they prefer its font anti-aliasing to the text smoothing offered by Mac OS 8.5.
