Kaleidoscope 2.0 public beta is out

CNET staff
A public beta of Kaleidoscope 2.0 is now available from the Kaleidoscope web site. "Version 2.0 is a huge leap forward, offering a completely new interface engine supporting windows of all shapes, tiled menu titles, dialog box patterns, custom arrow cursors and desktop patterns, and much more."

We have not gotten much feedback on it yet, However, one reader reported "freezes when I try to change schemes via the control panel; I can change them from the Finder fine." Another reader found that it somehow assigned all unused memory to the system software, leaving 0K as the size of the Largest Unused Block. Don't forget: this is betaware.
