I sure could go for a slice of pizza right now, how about you? Might as well get a whole pie, right? I mean, it holds up nicely in the fridge and then there will be leftovers; leftover pizza is always good to have around. What's that you say? You would rather have something fresh and homemade? Well sure, but you know the oven doesn't get hot enough. Look out back...? Oh, what's that?

That is the Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet Artisan Fire Pizza Oven and it wants to bake your pizza. Not only does the outdoor countertop pizza oven want to cook your homemade pizza, it wants to do it even faster than it would take to get a pie delivered.

With a preheat time as low as 20 minutes and a cooking time as fast as 3 minutes, the pizza oven combines the two best things about pizza: total customization and instant gratification. Achieving these desirable traits with a cooking temperature of over 800 degrees, the outdoor oven is a serious solution to pizza quandaries.

Set to be unveiled at the 2014 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), February 4 to 6, 2014, in Las Vegas, the new Artisan Fire Pizza Oven improves upon the model that was first introduced in 2010.

More power and more control (along with a new exterior pattern) are the calling cards of the new 2014 model. Using a hollow baking deck and a ceramic ceiling, the oven features two independently controlled burner systems, allowing the oven to heat up hotter and faster than its predecessor.

The 2014 Artisan Fire Pizza Oven is priced at $6,795 and will start shipping in the spring. Until then, I guess delivery will have to do.
