Are you up for a challenge?

The CNET team wanted to bring a little inspiration into cyberspace and contribute to a good cause at the same time. That is how the Heart to Heart Challenge was born, and it consists of gathering 10,000 good deeds, each one of them representing $1 that we [CNET] will contribute to the American Heart Association.

Why? With the adversity we receive from the news, the economy and the social injustice we find on our social channels or browsing the web, sometimes we forget how much goodness is out there and how easy it is to make someone's day with a touch of kindness.

So how can you join the challenge?

  • Head to the Heart to Heart Challenge forum post and share a good deed. It can be as simple as helping an old lady cross the street or as big as heading out to a foreign country to build houses. Also, you can be the receiver, the good Samaritan or a spectator.
  • After posting your good deed, please help us spread the word using the hashtag #HeartToHeart so we can achieve this goal and contribute to a good cause together. We have until June 19 to gather the 10,000 good deeds.

Join the challenge now!

The Heart to Heart Challenge started on Monday, June 6, and we have been getting some fantastic stories that just give you chills like:
