JackBe looks to make AJAX corporate

JackBe on Tuesday announced a development tool suite designed to make AJAX-style development fit into corporations' services-oriented architectures.

In November, JackBe will release a beta of Presto, which it calls a rich enterprise application platform, a set tools and servers for writing interactive Web applications using AJAX.

The products are designed to give businesses governance tools to keep track of SOA projects and server-based messaging software to build mash-ups.

JackBe is one of several companies that building AJAX Web development tools aimed primarily at businesses.

Presto will be available in the first quarter of next year, with prices starting at $20,000 per processor.
