Laugh it up, Fuzzballs.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" director J.J. Abrams took the Twizzler Challenge with Chewbacca on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to benefit autism awareness for Autism Awareness Month.

On an episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in early April, Kimmel took the Twizzler Challenge with Rihanna, and then challenged J.J. Abrams and Chewbacca to do the deed. It took the pair a few weeks to comply, but on Tuesday night's episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Abrams and Chewie puckered up from the set of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

For the uninitiated, the Twizzler Challenge is meant to drive autism awareness, and is very similar to 2014's Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS. It started when Bleacher Report writer Fred Katz tweeted that "Today Show" co-host Willie Geist and "Orange is the New Black" star Uzo Aduba shared a Twizzler "Lady and the Tramp" style during Comedy Central's "Night of Too Many Stars: America Comes Together for Autism" program, and it just kind of exploded from there.

Watch J.J. Abrams and Chewbacca share an intimate moment in the clip at the top of this post. Then, we'll have to wait and see if Jennifer Aniston and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" cast member Guillermo take Abrams and Chewie up on their challenge.
