iTunes 7.3 released: adds iPhone support

Apple has released iTunes 7.3 (Mac, Windows), which adds the ability to synchronize with the iPhone and a new feature for the Apple TV. Specifically, new features include:

  • Activate your iPhone service
  • Sync iPhone with your music, movies, TV shows, and more
  • Wirelessly share digital photos from any computer in your home with Apple TV

The new release is available as:

On the Mac side, the iPhone will require Mac OS X 10.4.10. On the Windows side, the iPhone will require Windows Vista Home Premium, Business, Enterprise, or Ultimate Edition; or Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 2 or later.
