iTunes 6.0.4 (#3): Multi-pass not working for some; Frequent re-buffering of streaming audio

Multi-pass not working for some The new iTunes media store "multi-pass" feature, which allows users to automatically purchase and download new episodes of TV shows and other media, is not working correctly for some users.

MacFixIt reader Robb writes:

"I just thought I would tell you that so far,  the new iTunes Multi-pass system does not seem to automatically download the next available episode.  Yesterday I purchased two video Multi-passes,  The Daily Show and The Colbert Show,  and downloaded the first episodes no problem.  Today I get the emails that the next episodes are available,  but nothing happens in iTunes.  I sign into my account, etc... Still nothing happens."

Frequent re-buffering of streaming audio Some users are reporting frequent re-buffering of media downloads after updating to iTunes 6.0.4.

Thomas Lambach writes:

"Prior iTunes versions played audio streams for up to three hours without any re-buffering. 6.0.4 iTunes seems unable to do that, even with its streaming buffer set to "large."
