iTunes 6.0.2 special report: Issues with MIDI files

CNET staff

A few readers have reported issues with MIDI files in iTunes 6.0.2.

One reader writes:

"They are identified as QuickTime Movie Files but when one tries to rename them, the name defaults to 'untitled' and there appears to be no way to change it to anything else. Not sure why, but on someone else's computer, there are also a couple that got changed to 'User Song' (I think that is the wording). I understand that in some cases, the name can be changed just by clicking on the song to play it.

"There is no clue as to the original song title other than looking at the file name and I suspect that can also change to 'untitled' in some cases."
