Fixes problems launching after Mac OS X 10.3.4 update Several users had problems launching iTunes after applying the Mac OS X 10.3.4 update -- as noted here. iTunes 4.6 resolves this issue as well, for at least some readers.

Tom Servo writes "I was one of the many users who had the iTunes fail-to-launch bug that many others had after upgrading to 10.3.4. Upgrading to iTunes 4.6 solved the problem.

Digidesign Core Audio Manager conflict MacFixIt reader Tom Pollock reports a conflict between iTunes 4.6 and Digidesign's Core Audio Manager for which we are seeking confirmation: "I just upgraded to iTunes 4.6. It seems I can no longer get audio through my Mbox (via USB) using the Digidesign Core Audio Driver v6.2.3. I just get clicks and pops. Sounds like a sample rate issue. I've tried setting the Mbox to both 44.1k and 48k sample rates: same result. This worked fine prior to the iTunes upgrade.

"Upgrading to the latest version of Digidesign's Core Audio Manager (v6.5.1) had no effect. Still not working."
