iTools: HomePage error fixed; Apple reply on iReview

HomePage error now fixed Regarding our recent item on problems accessing iTool's HomePage, Rich Battin and Peter Vader report that this is now fixed. A reply from Apple on its Support Boards confirms this:

    "Some iTools members have been experiencing difficulty in accessing the HomePage section of the iTools services. This issue has been resolved."

Apple reply on the demise of iReview When we received Apple's brief statement informing us of the removal of iReview from its site, we sent back a query asking for further information about this. We did not really expect Apple to tell us much more, but we thought it was worth a shot. Apple lived up (or is it down?) to our expectations. Here is their reply:

    "iReview has been discontinued. We are concentrating our iTools efforts on iCards, Email, iDisk, HomePage, and KidSafe, and plan to continue offering Mac users a first-rate set of Internet services and applications."
