With the supposed release date of Apple's supposed cheaper iPhone just around the corner, you can bet the Web will continue to fill up with supposed photos of the device.

This latest shot, picked up by French site NowhereElse, supposedly shows the 5C being tested near the assembly line, for capacity and general operation.

The site cautions, however, that these could actually be knockoffs. And, you know, this could also be a rather elaborate hoax pulled off with the help of an accommodating refrigerator. We thought you'd appreciate a look nevertheless.

Suppose you want to know more about the supposed 5C -- you can check out CNET's rundown, "iPhone 5C: What we expect about the announcement, specs, and release date of Apple's rumored cheaper iPhone," here. And we also have an FAQ, here.
