It's Samsung day here as our show is dominated by talk of the just unveiled Galaxy Note 7.

Roger Cheng and special guest Jessica Dolcourt, both fresh from the Samsung event in New York, discuss Samsung's latest flagship phone and why you should care. Ben Fox Rubin weighs in too.

While Samsung blazed a trail with supersized phones known as phablets, Apple actually took the lead in the category late last year. Is the Galaxy Note 7 enough for Samsung to retake the pole position? We talk about some of the new additions to the Note line, including a waterproof body and an iris-scanning security feature.

The 3:59 gives you bite-size news and analysis about the top stories of the day, brought to you by CNET Executive Editor Roger Cheng, Senior Writer Ben Fox Rubin and Producer Bryan VanGelder.
