iPod: Your new game machine

More than 20 downloadable digital diversions are now offered for iPod users. Plus, there are a couple of new cheap, cool new games available.

There are already more than 20 downloadable games for the iPod--and more are on the way. Besides standard arcade classics such as Ms. Pacman and more recent game crazes such as Soduku and Texas Hold 'em, new original games are being made for the iPod Nano with video, iPod classic, and fifth-generation iPod.

Two new games called Peggle and Phase are sure hits due to their cost ($4.99 each), playability, and addictiveness. Peggle is a modern-day pachinko amusement game while Phase is a game where you tap to your iPod's music.
