"After installing iPhoto 8.0.3, I got iPhoto crash immediately on launch.Possible solutionThe crash log said it was because /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/iLifeSlideshow.framework/Versions/A/iLifeSlideshow
was not found."
MacFixIt reader "Gerald E." continues:
"Indeed, /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/iLifeSlideshow.framework was missing. If you do not have a backup available for this solution, try downloading the update from Apple directly and installing it again. As always, MacFixIt recommends completing a stable backup of your entire system before installing any software updates. So I replaced it from a backup. Now iPhoto will launch. I don't know what happened to iLifeSlideshow.framework ... whether it was killed by the upgrade to 8.0.3 or whether it was just some fluke of my own system."
