iPhoto 7.1.2 addresses .Mac Web gallery issues

Apple has released iPhoto 7.1.2, an update to its photo organization and editing application. The new release "addresses issues when publishing photos to a .Mac Web Gallery, improves overall stability, and fixes a number of other minor issues."

It also patches the following security vulnerability:

"Subscribing to a maliciously crafted photocast may lead to arbitrary code execution A format string vulnerability exists in iPhoto. By enticing a user to subscribe to a maliciously crafted photocast, a remote attacker may cause arbitrary code execution. This update addresses the issue through improved handling of format strings when processing photocast subscriptions."

iPhoto 7.1.2 is available as a 14.2MB standalone download.
