iPhoto '08 videos not displaying in Snow Leopard?

Users that have upgraded to Snow Leopard and still run iLife '08 will need to install QuickTime 7 to view videos in iPhoto '08.

Users that have upgraded to Snow Leopard and still run iLife '08 will need to install QuickTime 7 to view videos in iPhoto '08. An Apple knowledge base article describes the need to install the optional QuickTime 7 to continue the ability to view your videos after upgrading to Snow Leopard. QuickTime 7 can be installed using your Snow Leopard installation disk. To install QuickTime 7:

  1. Insert the Snow Leopard installation disk into your Mac. Double-click the "Optional Installs" folder.

  3. Double-click the Optional Installs package file.

  5. Follow the Installer instructions. Select QuickTime 7 when prompted.

Note: Installing QuickTime 7 is only necessary for users running iPhoto '08 in Snow Leopard. If you are using iPhoto '09, no further installations are necessary.
