iPhone earrings replace snap bracelets as tackiest fashion accessory

If you just gotta have your iPhone/BlackBerry on you at all times, these homemade earrings will hold you over while your real phone is charging up.

If you just gotta have your iPhone or BlackBerry on you at all times, these homemade earrings will hold you over while your real phone is charging up.

They're offered on Barb Feldman's Etsy shopping site. While I'm not sure you'll see them at this year's Fashion Week, I wouldn't be surprised to see them dangling ironically on some N.Y. socialite, even though I personally think they're ugly as sin and look like Jacobim Mugatu's reject design from 2001. To her credit, Barb does layer each pair piece by piece using a special polymer clay called Fimo, so you can feel secure giving your $22 to a true miniature artist.

Check out more pictures of both sets of earrings in our slideshow below.
