How to determine if the new iPhones will fit in your pocket

According to the site, you'll need to:
- Download the PDF
- Print it out
- Cut out the two iPhone shapes
Unfortunately, even after following the instructions, I had difficulty getting the PDF to print to scale, so I instead used an alternative, more accurate method.
Taking the measurements from Apple's website -- and copied in the pic above -- I simply folded two different pieces of paper to each phone's spec. You'll want to use a sheet that's at least 6x10 inches.
After the Phone's announcement, my biggest question was whether the iPhone 6 Plus would even fit in my pockets. And though these methods don't provide a complete picture -- neither method simulates depth -- they're both easy ways to get a rough idea of the phones' sizes and how they'll impact your everyday routine.
If you're willing to put in a bit more work, you could find a couple of phones that are roughly the same size as the new iPhones. The 2013 Moto X is pretty close in size to the iPhone 6 and the Galaxy Note 3 or LG G3 are close approximations of what the iPhone 6 Plus has in store for hands. Then take a trip to Best Buy or a carrier store and get a feel for which size works best for you.
