iPad Air joins US Cellular's lineup Nov. 8

In addition to the full size tablet, the regional carrier will also sell Apple's iPad Mini with Retina Display.

Just call November 8 "Apple Day" for US Cellular. That's when the carrier opens it registers for the iPad Air tablet , along with the iPhone 5S and 5C smartphones.

US Cellular will also sell the iPad Mini with Retina Display , though the company hasn't shared a sale date yet.

The cellular model of the 16GB iPad Air costs $629; it comes with Apple's faster A7 processor and a lighter, thinner chassis that weighs just over a pound. (The Wi-Fi only version weighs just a pound in all).
