IomegaWare 1.1.3: more information

CNET staff
The IomegaWare 1.1.3 update, mentioned here last time, includes USB driver support. On the other hand, Alan Agardi notes that it no longer includes the FindIt application and extension. So you might want to save your copies of them before deleting your old software.
Update: Two readers initially claimed that FindIt was indeed included in their download. However, it now appears that it was just the copy that was already on their drive.

There is apparently a separate download that contains FindIt and Copy Machine (even though Copy Machine is also included in the main download). The link is on an Iomega web page. However, this is not a new version; it is still the version from IomegaWare 1.0. (Thanks, Tim Rinkel, Bob Lougheed and others.)

Brett Wickens found that the update fixed several problems he had been having with his Iomega drives, including the commonly cited copy problem. He writes: "I can now freely copy between my internal HD, my external 2GB Jaz and my Internal Zip drive without any disk-related copy errors." Update: According to Brett and Michael Black, it also fixed a problem where, after ejecting a Jaz cartridge, subsequently inserted cartridges would not mount.
