Software maker Interwoven, a specialist in content management applications, announced a new version of its TeamSite server software, which catalogs and manages shared digital assets throughout a business. TeamSite 6.0 will include a simplified user interface, templates for creating and managing electronic forms, and advanced tools for Webmasters and system administrators to manage workflow, security and other settings.

TeamSite can be integrated with common business software such as BEA Systems' WebLogic and IBM's WebSphere applications servers and enterprise applications from Siebel Systems and PeopleSoft. TeamSite 6.0 is in testing now and will be available through a general release in September.
