Software maker , a specialist in content management products, announced Thursday that it will hold a special shareholders meeting Nov. 18 to vote on the company's proposed acquisition of iManage, which makes collaboration tools. The companies, which began collaborating as partners earlier this year, have said the merger will allow them to sell an integrated software package that addresses how an enterprise catalogs and uses documents and other types of content.

Simultaneous meetings are scheduled to be held at Interwoven's headquarters in Sunnyvale and iManage's headquarters in Foster City, both in California. Proxy statements and other voting materials will be mailed to shareholders next week, the companies said.
