Internet Explorer Search tab error: a follow-up

Regarding the Internet Explorer "Search tab" not working - at least for some users (as reported last time), we have several follow-up items:

Microsoft's Irving Kwong has replied that they are investigating this and will send us further information as it becomes available.

Lee Hinde notes: "I type 'go {searchterm}' as a 'location' in the address bar. This would typically go to Yahoo and do a search on searchterm. This too broke last week some time."

Eric Taylor suggest a work-around: "Choose 'Search the Internet' from the Go menu. This will still take you to the Search page entered in your preferences."
