Internet Explorer 4.5 Plug-in Updater is out; installs QuickTime 2.01 plug-in

The Microsoft Macintosh Business unit has released an Internet Explorer 4.5 Plug-in Updater. It provides the QuickTime 3.0 compatible plug-in (v. 2.01) and sets Explorer to access the plug-in as appropriate. Starting from February 6, users who download Internet Explorer 4.5 automatically get the appropriate QT plug-in when they install IE. They do not need this Updater. The IE Plug-in Updater will allow current IE 4.5 users to update the QT plug-in automatically without having to download IE 4.5 again.

If you have previously manually installed QuickTime plug-in 2.01, and it seems to be working fine, you do not need this update.
