New media tackles the old-fashioned network evening news. Remember that?
Regardless, you can find video of the nightly news broadcasts on a single site. It's the Tyndall Report, which has long carried text rundowns for each evening newscast of ABC, CBS and NBC. It doesn't deal with cable news video.
Tyndall now styles itself as a blog. And each video link on Tyndall's home page takes you to a network's site and to free video. You can easily do a little comparison viewing if you get curious about how old media is handling a story. It's also a useful service for students taking a class in broadcasting. Give the TiVo a rest.
