IntelliMouse and Quark conflict: Microsoft says it's Quark's problem

Brian Caskey writes: "According to Microsoft's tech support, my IntelliMouse's inability to utilize the scroll wheel within QuarkXPress 4.1 is a Quark problem. Here is an excerpt from their response: Try this: Go into IntelliPoint control panel. Click the Add button to add QuarkXPress 4.1 and give it specific settings. On the Wheel tab select Restore Defaults. Close IntelliPoint. Open Quark. How does the scrolling feature work? If it doesn't change the situation, Change the settings in the control panel back to global, go to the Wheel tab and click Restore Defaults again. If that doesn't work, then there is nothing we here at MS can do. You will need to address the makers of Quark for further assistance.
