Regarding the previously mentioned "mouse" problem with SoftWindows, Leigh Dworkin (SoftWindows Product Manager) writes: There is an update for SoftWindows 95 5.0 and RealPC 1.0, available as a free download from Insignia's web site, that enables SoftWindows 98 to be installed without getting the above error message regarding the mouse. There is no problem with the SoftWindows 98 product, which has Windows 98 included."

Allen Brown concurs: "I recently installed Windows 98 with RealPC 1.03 on my G3 266. I also received the "vmouse" error message. The problem was solved by downloading the RealPC 1.04 upgrade." Michael Louka and others also confirm this.
