InfoSpace extends Google deal to 2006

InfoSpace will continue to include Google's search service in its family of Web portals.

InfoSpace said it will continue to include Google's search service in its family of Web portals through 2006. The deal, originally signed in September 2002, also covers Google's sponsored listings services, which offer paid-for links alongside information ferreted out by its search engine.

InfoSpace's metasearch technology searches the Web's leading engines and delivers the best results from each. The Bellevue, Wash.-based company owns many search portals such as Excite.com, Dogpile.com, Metacrawler.com and Webcrawler.com.
