Weather may dictate many activities in everyday life, but it doesn't have to its say over culinary options.

Hovering over a grill, monitoring steaks and burgers is a tradition that is enjoyed any time of the year. Except, of course, when the weather wants to rain on the parade of burgers, dogs, and steaks. Every cloud has a silver lining (probably made from a mixture of condiments); just because the outdoors isn't cooperating doesn't mean the grilling has to stop.

The Cuisinart GR-100 Indoor Outdoor Griddler keeps the good times sizzling wherever the action happens to be least inclement. Featuring a reversible cooking plate--griddle on one side, grill on the other--the versatile electric appliance is not only well-suited for location-based grilling, but also for satisfying appetites at any time of day. Think pancakes and eggs in the morning and burgers and chicken for dinner.

The appliance encourages pancakes on the patio but it has more than just mornings on its mind. Shipping with a domed lid, a drip tray and a stand, the grill comes ready to go where needed. Cooking surface checks in at 180 square inches, and regardless of what food finds itself on the grill, the reversible cooking plate is dishwasher-safe--if it makes it to that point. The cooking plate, being nonstick, cleans up quickly, making it easy to get ready in time for the next meal, wherever that happens to be.
