Indie Gala Mobile 2 bundles more good games for good causes

If you're an Android user and game lover, you'll want to check out this collection of indie apps. It can be yours for as little as $1.

Indie Game Bundles

Need some new games to while away your flight, train ride, car trip, or time in line at the post office with?

In terms of bang for the buck, it's hard to beat a bundle. Like this one: the Indie Gala Mobile 2 bundle lets you set your own price for three (or more) popular Android games -- and support some worthy causes in the process.

Like previous Indie Gala bundles, this one has a minimum buy-in of $1 -- though you can pay more than that if you wish (see below). That gets you Battle Group, Ichi, and The Lost Souls. Purchased separately, this threesome would run you about $4.

If you pay more than the current average purchase price ($5.29 as of this writing), you'll get three additional Android games: the top-rated Little Stars for Little Wars 2, the top-rated Xelorians, and the medium-rated Call of Cthulhu: Wasted Land.

You'll also get three indie games for Windows: Cute Things Dying Violently, Spin Deluxe, and Tiny Plumbers (which appears to still be in beta).

Quick note: To access most of these games, you'll need to install Desura on your PC.

One reason I like (and continue to promote) Indie Gala bundles is that you get to decide not only what to pay, but also where your money goes: the developers, the bundlers, charity, or some combination of the three.

Thus, for not much more than the price of a single venti latte with a shot of caramel, you get nine games and the option of helping a couple of worthy causes -- in this case AbleGamers and the Italian Red Cross.

It would be nice if the Indie Gala folks provided a bit more (or any) information about each game, or even noted which platform(s) they're compatible with. That gripe aside, this is a pretty stellar bargain.
