Indian minister says IT outsourcing raked in $12.5 billion

Indian officials today disclosed details on revenues from IT outsourcing for the last year.

Reports out of New Delhi today say IT outsourcing accounted for some $12.5 billion in revenues during the last year. The nation's IT Minister Dayanidhi Maran said about 3000 companies were engaged in outsourcing business in India.
