InDesign 2.0 color swatch edit crash: a fix

CNET staff

A reader found that corrupted preferences were to blame for InDesign 2.0 crashing on his machine. Marc Wood writes: "I found that InDesign would crash if I attempted to make a new color swatch or edit an existing one by clicking on the 'Color Mode' pop-up menu. The fix: delete the 'Defaults,' 'Color Settings' and 'Saved Data' files, and the 'Recovery' folder from the InDesign Preferences folder, which is located at /Users/[Username]/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign/Version 2.0/. It may be only one of these files actually needs to be deleted, because initially deleting only the 'Defaults' and 'Color Settings' files did not work."
