iMac Ad Campaign "Apple is launching the largest marketing campaign in the company's history for iMac, with advertising totaling over $100 million. New iMac television commercials will premier nationally Sunday, Aug 16." There's also a radio promotion.

Finally, Apple reports tests that show that the "iMac is 40% faster than the fastest PC."

Other Web pages The number of Web sites devoted to the iMac continues to proliferate. Here are a couple of the newest entries: Next Monday, August 17th , the official unveiling of My Netopia for iMac will occur. My Netopia is an Internet service geared specifically for iMac users, and we would welcome the opportunity to have MacFixIt review this web site service.

My Netopia for iMac is "an Internet service that allows iMac users to receive a free web site with web-based email. To create a site, no html programming or web design experience is necessary." The site will debut on Monday; don't bother trying to visit it until then (the link will be: http://www.mynvo.com/).

NoBeige.com is "a daily, content-laden Web site aimed at users of Apple's new iMac personal computer," from Jason O'Grady.
