iListen does not work with OS 9.1; Apple update may fix this

A reader received confirmation from MacSpeech that iListen is compatible Mac OS 9.0.x but not 9.1. MacSpeech places the blame on Apple: "Apple has already admitted to its developers it introduced bugs with Mac OS 9.1 in the low level system that will affect some developers. The good news is that Apple is introducing a maintenance update, which we are testing internally, and so far things seem to be working much better."

MacSpeech is likely referring to the Moonlight update, an early version of which has already been seeded to developers.
