IE 7 has another flaw
One week after the release of IE 7, and one week after security experts within the new browser, security researchers at Secunia have announced another (albeit minor) flaw in the browser. The vulnerability affects pop-up toolbars and could potentially be used by phishers attempting to lure unsuspecting victims to their fraudulent sites. A workaround exists: Simply configure IE 7 to open new windows in a new tab; this is not the default setting. To do this, click Tools, then Internet Options, then Tabs Setting, then answer the question "When a pop-up is encountered" with "Always open pop-ups in a new tab." Microsoft has blogged a response here. For more on this vulnerability, see this News.com article.
