iDVD 6.0.2 (#2): Problems with Preview functionality -- possible fix

Problems with Preview functionality Several readers have reported an issue where, after iDVD 6.0.2, the application's preview function does not work properly.

MacFixIt reader Becca Christophel writes:

"After updating to 6.0.2 the iDVD preview function is not working. The little pinwheel/beachball just keeps spinning."

In at least some cases, this issue appears to be associated with the presence of MP3 audio. Try removing any MP3 audio from your project, or converting MP3 content to AIFF or another format then re-attempt previewing of the iDVD project.

Try clearing caches for various project issues We've received several reports indicating that clearing caches with a tool like OnyX, Tiger Cache Cleaner or Cocktail can resolve various issues with iDVD projects that occur after the update to version 6.0.2 -- including loss of audio.
