iDisk and Keychain: one more follow-up

iDisk and Keychain: one more follow-up

CNET staff
Regarding yesterday's item on using iDisk with Keychain, several readers noted that you could mount your iDisk without being asked your password - if you opened and unlocked the Keychain Access control panel, double-clicked on the idisk.mac.com listing and then clicked the Go There button. [Short-cut: If you hold down the Option key when double-clicking idisk.mac.com, you by pass the need to click the Go There button.] These same readers generally agreed that this is not a time-saving procedure. Double-clicking an alias to iDisk and entering the password when asked is probably more convenient (assuming you remember the password of course).
[Note: If you are still having any problems with iTools, also check with threads (such as this one) in the MacFixIt Forums.]
