Those of you who relished the Machiavellian antics on the first season of "House of Cards" can now peek at what's in store for season 2.

The new two-and-a-half minute trailer entices viewers with the ongoing exploits of Frank Underwood, deliciously played by Kevin Spacey, as he battles to win the White House. Upon being sworn in as the new vice president, Underwood tells the audience: "One heartbeat away from the presidency, and not a single vote cast in my name. Democracy is so overrated."

But Underwood's quest for the presidency will face some obstacles as people try to expose the truth behind the man. And a trusted friend of the president, who last season vetted Underwood to take on the role of vice president, now appears to be turning against him.

How far will Underwood and his equally manipulative wife, Claire, go to ensure their enemies are crushed? We'll have to fire up Netflix on February 14 to find out.
