A new Humble Bundle is offering eight sci-fi and fantasy ebooks by authors such as Nail Gaiman, Cory Doctorow and Kelly Link.

This is the first time that Humble Bundle is offering a collection of ebooks in a sale, which will run for just two weeks from today.

As usual, you pay what you want, and nominate how much you want to go to the authors, and how much to the Child's Play charity, the Electronic Frontier Foundation or the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America — and while the base sale lets you have six of the books no matter what you pay, paying above the average (US$11.59 at time of writing) gives you all seven. The ebooks are available in EPUB, Mobi or PDF format, for reading across tablets, smartphones, computers and e-readers.

We've read most of the books on the list, and it's a good collection:

  • Magic for Beginners by Kelly Link

  • Stranger Things Happen by Kelly Link

  • Invasion by Mercedes Lackey

  • Zoo City by Lauren Beukes

  • Pump Six by Paolo Bacigalupi

  • Pirate Cinema by Cory Doctorow.

And the additional two are:

  • Old Man's War by John Scalzi

  • Signal to Noise by Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean.

To take advantage of this awesome bargain, head over to the Humble Bundle website.
